This sculpture is fabricated from hundreds of pieces of recycled plywood to create the bulb and tube-like forms, which are connected to a piece of a maple tree and covered in a thick gritty mixture. In this earlier work, I was questioning the life cycles and level of sentience that organisms in the plant kingdom might experience.
